Yoga Nidra is a deeply restful and nurturing guided relaxation, usually practised lying down, and accessible to virtually everyone.

Meaning ‘yogic sleep’ this supportive meditation which dates back thousands of years has seen a recent reoccurrence in popularity. It’s the perfect antidote to the busy and stress filled lives we lead. This practice has the ability to help manage pain, improve sleep, lower anxiety/stress levels and invite a powerful, welcome state of deep rest.

The guided practice includes focused attention of the physical body, breath awareness, and connection with your thoughts, emotion and creative potential of your mind. During the practice the thinking mind is kept busy and aware as the body is able to deeply and profoundly rest. The result is a calmed nervous system, a feeling of rejuvenation and profound stillness.

Yoga Nidra practiced on a regular practice, can be a perfect place to reflect and invite an opening for deep change.

Daniel Groom who leads the sessions is fortunate to have been trained in Yoga Nidra with Uma Dinsmore Tuli and Nirplita Tuli. He see Yoga Nidra as a profoundly supportive and transformative tool which has helped abundantly in his personal and professional life. Daniel is experienced in host Yoga Nidra in a group or 1:1 environment.
