The Chakras and Yin Yoga – CPD training at Anahata Yoga Centre, Southend-on-Sea

Date: TBA

An afternoon of relaxing Yin Yoga, Yang bioenergetics and Chakra Meditation and Yoga Nidra.
Discover the path to the Self, balance the seven chakras with yoga, sound vibration, chanting and meditations.

Yin Yoga is a meditative practice of slow, deep floor poses that are held for set periods of time. During the yin postures we have time to explore not only the inner landscapes of the physical body but also to delve into the deeper levels of our being. This practice gives us an opportunity to work on specific target areas in both our physical and energetic bodies and help to balance and awaken the ‘rainbow bridge’ inside of us.

Gain a deeper understanding of the Chakras, which are “wheels” of energy, aligned along the central column of the body. They are the bridge between our conscious and unconscious world and have a direct influence on our lives, affecting our behaviour, feelings and emotions.

Suitable of everyone who wants to find balance in life, Beginners are very welcome.

About the Teacher

Regina Kerschbaumer is a senior Yoga Teacher and Yin Yoga Teacher trainer with Yoga Alliance Professionals. She had been teaching yoga for the past 15 years and has over 3 decades of bodywork experience.

She trained directly under Paul Grilley (the mastermind behind Yin Yoga) since 2006, in California as well as with Sarah Powers of Insight Yoga and Anodea Judith the author of Eastern Body Western Mind.

She blends this in-depth knowledge of yin yoga with her expertise in meridians, anatomy and chakra work to create a unique style of yoga which unites student and teacher in an atmosphere of fun and well-being.

Teaching with warmth and enthusiasm; she enables her students to visualise and work with the Chakras and Meridians within the inner body allowing them to explore the relationships between the body, breath and inner stillness.

Notes this training will be held at Anahata Yoga Centre in person, we are limiting the amount of people attending to meet the Covid Regulations.
