EPISODE 8

Menopause with Dawn Lister, Daniel Groom and Kate Codrington
In this enlightening, powerful and engaging episode we talk to Kate Codrington about Menopause. For Kate, menopause is an empowering transition. A time when women can come into their power, a time when we stop damping down our truth, living life for others. A time when our life story and history comes home to roost. Kate speaks to the menopause as a political issue, women being treated for centuries with disdain, misogyny and dominance.
Kate Codrington (she/her) is a ‘Chief Validation Officer’ – or also known as a menstrual and menopause mentor, speaker, facilitator, artist, writer and has been a therapist for 30 years. She is also the author of Second Spring: the self-care guide to menopause (published by HarperCollins) – a revolutionary piece of work to help women and menopausal people navigate the menopause.
A pioneering spirit, Kate was the first to graduate as a Menstruality Medicine Circle facilitator, is the host of Life – An Inside Job podcast, creates multi-level art textile projects and seasonal Yoga Nidra inspired by the land where she lives in Hertfordshire. When she’s not doing these things you’ll find her playing in her compost heaps!
