LGBTQIA+ Yoga with Dawn Lister, Daniel Groom and Gabi Parkham
In this episode we speak to Gabi Parkham (she/her) about the work she is doing to raise awareness of LGBTQIA+ people and how they can be supported in Yoga and Pregnancy Yoga classes.
We also discussed the recent LGBTQIA+ 6 month yoga mentoring program she developed, which our co-host Daniel Groom was part of.
During these conversations we also talked about White Supremacy and Cultural Appropriation of Yoga, as well as the fantastic new film “Everyone’s Talking About Jamie”.
