Sunday 25th April 3:00pm-4:45pm, £20 per person, online via Zoom
To ‘rest’, to ‘relax’ and to ‘restore’ is essential to everyone especially in current Pandemic we are all in the midst of. To ‘rest’ deeply is to experience relaxation, where there is effortlessness, quietness and peace.
Restorative Yoga is postures adapted from classical yoga postures, where the practice focus is relaxing the body in restful supported positions. Each pose is usually held for few minutes, gradually extending to longer during the session.
Restorative Yoga balances the autonomic nervous system, therefore supporting the body and mind to renew and heal. We will end the session with a deep relaxation practice called Yoga Nidra which promote wellbeing and a restful weekend.
This session is perfect for those suffering with insomnia, stress, bereavement, fatigue or in need of support and rest from their busy lives. This practice is specifically useful for clients dealing with Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia, Chronic or Acute Pain, Anxiety, Depression or those recovering from illness.
This workshop will be held via ZOOM as you will be in your home I would encourage you to gather any Yoga Equipment such as bolsters, blocks and blankets. If these are not available then cushions, blankets and towels are all great alternatives. Daniel will spend time offering ways to support yourself using the full range of props people may have to hand.
