When we practise ahimsa, the action of non harming, do we ever consider how our spending habits around fashion harmfully impact on the world? Maybe not?

Do you know where your clothing comes from? Is it sustainable? Do the makers pay their workers a living wage? What do they do with toxic chemicals used to dye the fabrics?

And what about you? What do you do when it’s out of fashion? Had its moment in the sun? Or a button falls off or needs a new zip?

We as a society have become consumers of fashion at the expense of those who make our clothes and the planet itself. Why not set the intention to shop mindfully and become aware about your choices. Helping yourself. Your fellow earth dwellers and the planet. How to recycle and get rid of clothes responsibly, a great and informative blog post from @reducereuserenewblog
