6 Week Yoga Challenge

  • What: Early morning yoga class, led by Terri Walford.
  • When: every Wednesday, 6am-7am, 11th September-16th October
  • Best for: reinvigorating the mind and body, preparing for the day ahead. Suitable for beginners.
  • Cost: £50 per person for 6 weeks, £12 drop in. Members are welcome as part of your class pass package.

Parent & Baby Yoga

  • What: gentle, strengthening yoga session for parents while your little ones play (suitable for infants 0-9 months). Led by Keira May.
  • When: Tuesdays, 10th September-1st October, 8th October-22nd November, 12:00pm-1:00pm.
  • Best for: new parents.
  • Cost: 5 week terms: £50. 6 week terms: £60. Drop in on the day: £12.

Beginner’s 4 Week Yoga Course

  • What: 4 week course covering the basics of yoga, including postures, breathing, meditation and yoga philosophy, led by Daniel Groom.
  • When: 18th September-9th October, 6:15-7:30pm.
  • Best for: anyone who wants to try yoga, anyone who has done yoga in the past and wants to refresh their practice.
  • Cost: £65 per person.

Rest & Renew Yoga

  • What: restful, healing postures adapted from classical yoga posture, ending the session with Yoga Nidra, led by Daniel Groom.
  • When: Sundays, 22nd September, 20th October, 24th November, 3:00pm-4:45pm.
  • Best for: those with chronic illness such as Chronic Fatigue or Fibromyalgia, those with insomnia, stress, anxiety or those recovering from illness.
  • Cost: £20 per person.

LGBT+ Yoga Group

  • What: yoga class with emphasis on gentle breathing, followed by reflection and relaxed discussion, led by Daniel Groom.
  • When: 22nd September, 20th October, 4th November, 11am-12:30pm.
  • Best for: members of the LGBT+ community who would like to learn the basics of yoga and meditation in a safe environment.
  • Cost: free entry. Donations to Southend Pride and Transpire welcome.

Yoga Nidra

  • What: Deeply restful, nurturing guided meditation session, led by Daniel Groom.
  • When: 27th September, 25th October, 29th November, 7:30pm-8:45pm.
  • Best for: managing stress and lowering anxiety. Suitable for beginners.
  • Cost: £20 per person.

An Introduction to Sound Medicine with Maria Nayler

  • What: a sound therapy session with renowned voice coach and vocalist Maria Nayler, utilising mantra, percussion, singing bowls, tuning forks, and the voice.
  • When: 18th October, 8:00pm-9:30pm.
  • Best for: those who lack confidence in public or face-to-face speaking.
  • Cost: £45 per person.

Mindfulness 4 Week Course

  • When: 16th October-6th November, 6pm-7:15pm.
  • Best for: anyone who wants to reduce stress, develop resilience and learn skills to help you be in the moment, to learn straightforward, practical meditation exercises, or who wishes to refresh their knowledge .
  • Cost: £75 per person.

Mandalas & Mindfulness Workshop

  • Best for: anyone who wants to de-stress in a fun, creative way!

Positive Vibrations – a Journey Through Sound with Lisa Horwell
